The Five Lakes Silver Band, under the direction of Dr. Steven Kandow, is an award winning organization committed to the British brass band traditions of providing the highest quality brass band entertainment to their audiences. Band members strive to promote the performance of brass band literature in all segments of the community, maintain the very best standards in musicianship among its members, and provide educational experiences for young musicians through music performance.

Concert site is Sunset Point located at the Western tip of Belle Isle (facing the Renaissance Center).. Look for lawn signs directing traffic. Concert attendees are advised to bring lawn chairs and blankets for their comfort. Concert may be cancelled at the last minute due to weather conditions.
